#2 Swimming, Men's 200-Meter Individual Medley

During the USA Olympic Trials this event was among the most anticipated, and chances are that it will be among the highlighted events in this set of Olympics too. The two rivals to watch out for in the men’s individual swimming medley are Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte. Phelps holds the title of most decorated Olympian of all time, with the most Olympic medals on record.

#3 Track and Field, Men’s 100-Meter Race

The men’s 100-meter race is among the few Olympic events where you will find the last three Summer Games champions competing against each other again. Contenders for the gold medal include Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, who is the world’s fastest man as well as America’s Justin Gatlin.
